WEE know it’s a terrible stereotype, but men driving white vans seem to generally be complete wankers. WEE have just had a run in with a tosser in a white van today.

Men in white vans seem to think that they own the road. Everyone one else can go to hell in a hand basket. You know what? WEE don’t really care, however when men in white vans start behaving aggressively such as swerving at speed toward your vehicle, you do start to get a little peeved.

And when same man in white van is angry because he was in the wrong and believes that, according to man in white van parallel universe, that his is totally in the right, the whole thing becomes most annoying. Anyway, WEE won’t go into all the details of the incident, suffice to say that when merging one gives way to the right (in Australia).It’s a fairly standard manoeuvre and one to which there are very few exceptions.

But men in white vans seem to think that absolutely no-one can try and overtake them in the merging process as the performance capability of their 4-cylinder van motor must not be challenged by any other higher performance car on the road (in this case a 4-cylinder Subaru)! And if it is, the other road user has somehow completely ruined their day – they are not going to achieve their white van fantasy of being the fastest and most important thing on four wheels.

There is a wonderful line in the film Personal Services about BCSD (which stands for big car small dick). The same can apply to men in white vans. They sadly seem to be the most insecure and erratic of drivers on the road.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the police would do something useful and keep a closer eye on these tossers. Alternatively WEE hope that nothing as awful as what is depicted in the accompany photo ever happens to men in white vans.
